Our take on Jafar as a chick. This is my favorite costume thus far and the most work I've put into one and I am REALLY proud of it. I choose brocade and silks for Jafar befitting his status (and delicate skin haha) and to contrast Aladdin. Like with the Aladdin costume I choose to go with a more traditional belt: yards of fabric that Squishy had to help me spin into and tuck. The design for the skirt and the coat is actually based off of turkish designs and more traditional belly dance costuming. I choose to keep the sleeves, shoulder, feather and staff which I find iconic to Jafar's look.
